Everyone enjoys reading a good book, especially when they are free! The number of website where you can get ebooks seems to be growing daily but finding those with books costing nothing is becoming more and more difficult. On this resources page I'm going to share some great tips on how to search the top retailers websites for these elusive books.
epubBooks.com
Well, I guess the first place to start is my very own epubBooks. Okay, so my collection is still quite small, but what you do get is quality. All the books found here have been processed by my own processing tools and I went to great effort to make sure that you are getting some of the best looking ebooks found anywhere — letting you focus on the story without any distractions from horrible layouts and text styling.
All the EPUB ebooks found on epubBooks are completely free to download and come without any DRM restrictions, as long as they are only used for personal use. Browse our current selection in the Books section of the site.
Amazon Kindle Store
Browsing the Amazon Kindle store directly from your eReader is pretty crummy at best — trying to find free Kindle books is a nightmare. Therefore I'd recommend you do all your searching directly from the Amazon website itself.
One really useful page is the Amazon Kindle "Limited-Time Offers" page, which always has a bunch of ebooks on offer, at very low or zero prices.
For those of you who don't mind paying a couple dollars then Amazon's Kindle Daily Deals page has some excellent offers which are well worth checking out each day.
eBooks.com
If you're interested in downloading from eBooks.com, then you're going to have to trust to luck. At this time I haven't found any way to filter books by price or view a "Top Free Books" listing. For eBooks.com, it seems we're out of luck!
As you can see, this is not a difficult process, but every time you make a new search you will have to change that "Sort By" option.
